Start your New Year off well by joining us on Saturday, January 6th at 8:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Center for our next breakfast. Our central theme this year is "The Disciplines of a Godly Man" and this month we are privileged to have David Kent, speak on "The Discipline of Work". You can register online (see below) or call the church office.
God intends for men to be strong leaders in our homes, workplaces, churches and community. The Men’s Ministry at Calvary digs deep into God’s Word in search of wisdom for equipping the saints, ministering to the needs of others and serving sacrificially. Through weekly Bible studies, monthly breakfasts, athletic events and yearly men’s retreats, men can learn how to live the Christian life as God intended—and have lots of fun in the process.
Weekly Bible studies
There are two weekly Men’s Bible studies. The Tuesday morning Men’s Bible study meets from 6:30–7:30 a.m. in Reception Room B. Our Wednesday evening study meets during the school year at 6:40–7:50 p.m. in Reception Room B. Come when you can!
Join us the first Saturday of every month (with the exception of April) from 8:30–10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Center. This year we are focusing on The Disciplines of a Godly Man. Each month, we will focus on a different discipline. Included will be the discipline of marriage, perseverance, friendship, work, integrity, fatherhood, purity and the tongue. Come join men of all ages for a special time together. There is a suggested donation of $4 per person, and remember, sons eat free!
Mark your calendars for these upcoming breakfasts and come have a time of great fellowship and good food. You can also signup online, by clicking the signup box below.
