Young Adults are in transition. Almost every young adult is at a crossroad. They will make choices that will define the rest of their lives. In a real sense, Young Adults are stepping into the unknown and going out on their own for the first time. So much is going on in the lives of Young Adults, and there are lots of decisions and choices. The critical thing for young adults is a firm relationship with Christ to glorify Him.
That is why Crossroads exists.
Crossroads exists, as a ministry of Calvary Bible Church, to magnify God and extend a passion for His glory by making disciples and shepherding them to cherish Jesus above all else.
Whether you are a student at WMU, KVCC, Kalamazoo College, or a young professional at the outset of your career, Crossroads is a great place to grow in Christian community.
Learn more about Crossroads, Calvary's College and Young Adult Ministry, by asking us a question through our contact form. You can also check out our Facebook or Twitter pages for frequent updates, pictures, Bible verses, and spiritual challenges.
Sunday Morning Lifegroup
The Crossroads Lifegroup meets at 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel towards the back (east side) of the Church. Come and join many other young adults as they explore the Bible. This is a great time to learn from the Word of God and fellowship with other like-minded believers.
Crossroads Campus Fellowship
Check out our new group, Crossroads Campus Fellowship, which meets in the Bernhard center (Faculty Lounge Room 244) at WMU on Wednesdays at 8:15pm. We are going through a simple book study of the Tactics in conversations with unbelievers. Come check it out and bring a friend.
Crossroads Evening Fellowships take place twice a month during the school year. These are especially centered around fellowship, discipleship, worship, and community within the body of Christ. Check the Calendar or the Facebook group for updates on these events.
Crossroads Outreach meets at 3:45pm on Wednesdays in the Church lobby during the school year (September-April). After meeting, we go to a local college to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. Afterward, we eat a church meal ($3) and discuss the conversations and encounters we had.
Crossroads Core Groups have 2-3 people in them and meet once a week for about an hour. These groups meet for mutual accountability (confessing sin), scripture reading and studying and sharing specific, regular prayer requests. Please use our contact form for more information and to get involved in a Core Group.
Need a ride?
We have the Calvary Bus that picks up students from WMU at 8:15 on Sunday mornings and drops them off shortly after noon. The current pick up point is located at the intersection at the Valley Dorms.
