There are two resources available to you to help you worship throughout the week. The first is service replays. You can now view a full replay of each week’s worship service by scrolling down to the bottom of the home page and looking for Service Replays and Sermons or by clicking here. Secondly, you can find a listing of the songs used in our worship services here. There you’ll find the songs from the previous and upcoming Sunday. We trust that these resources will be an encouragement to you.
Calvary Bible Church has a Radio Ministry. Every Sunday morning from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. WKZO AM (590) and 106.9 FM airs a thirty minute message from Pastor Laird. The message is a repeat of the previous Sunday evening message.
Angel Tree Update: COVID-19 has impacted Christian camping throughout the world. Praise God, Camp Michawana, after canceling weeks 1, 2,3, and Mini-Camp was able to meet the state guidelines for overnight camping and opened for remaining weeks 5, 6 and added week 7. A normal year for CBC is 90 -100 campers and we were able to take 48 campers, under CBC guidelines, this shortened year. What a year it has been. Two of our teenage boys, who attend REACH also, accepted Christ as Lord and Savior and boldly proclaimed their decision stating they experienced their 2nd "spiritual" birthday. In addition, several of our campers earned their All-Around Bible award and were All-Around Camper Award winners (no small feat). They now qualify for the invitation-only spiritual Elite Retreat in the fall. We will learn about more camper’s spiritual decisions after receiving their counselor reports. God has done a mighty work in these campers' lives and He orchestrated it all in the circumstances described above. To God be the glory!
School supplies season is here already! Operations Christmas Child sends school supplies in every box and we can use donations of subject notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, erasers and glue sticks. We ask that you hold on to the supplies until it is safe to bring them to Calvary. This year we are encouraging individuals and families to pack their own shoe boxes. Our packing parties will be very limited in the Fall. This ministry delivers your gifts along with the Gospel to millions of children worldwide waiting to hear the Good News of Jesus.
Service Opportunities
We want to announce the restart of the ministry Church on the Porch. The goal of Church on the Porch is to bring church to those who cannot attend services on Sunday. Right now, elements on this ministry include a mini communion service at your house, phone calls to those who can’t be at church, or letters of encouragement to those who can’t be at church. If you would like to receive one of these ministries, please call the church office. If you would like to participate in serving others in one of these ministries, we also ask that you call the church office.
