Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation. Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. “But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Baked Ziti will be served at the Family Dinner from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., prior to the evening activities on Wednesday. A gluten free or dairy free option is available upon advanced request. We ask everyone to sign up by 12 p.m. the Monday before. Please click here or call the Church Office to sign up. This is always a great time of fellowship before the evening activities begin. The Elders have approved the following individuals for Membership: William & Evelyn Brown and Jenna Solomon.
There will be a Parent on Dedication on October 25 during the morning services, where parents will have the opportunity before the congregation to commit to raising their child in a biblical manner and for God’s glory. If you are interested in participating, there are two required dedication classes meeting October 11 & 18. These classes are held in Room 217 at 10:30 a.m. To sign up call the Church Office, or click here. Registration closes October 7.
The Calvary Orchestra season is underway, and we're still welcoming new players! Our orchestra uses its musical gifts to glorify God, support the congregation in worship, and proclaim the gospel through our Christmas Concert. The ideal candidate will have a testimony of saving faith in Christ with demonstrated Christ-like character, strong leadership skills and experience, a background in facility management and/or building maintenance and a heart for ministry.
