Fellowship Sunday
No p.m. Service
But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
2 Peter 3:8-10(NASB95)
NEWS
Replacement of the Fellowship Center flooring is ongoing. Please remember to stay out of this area to avoid any disruption in the work. We anticipate completion towards the middle of June.
Lobby Renovations – we are excited to announce upcoming renovations to the Lobby, which we hope will enhance the visitor experience and provide a warmer and more welcoming atmosphere for all guests and members of Calvary. Changes will be taking place in phases, so please be patient with us over the next couple of months as different areas of the lobby will be impacted, including changes to seating options.
Our students will be collecting a coin offering today, in the morning service. This offering is used by the Next Generation ministries for special purchases. We appreciate the financial gifts that you generously donate.
Global Ministries is in need of a replacement van. The current van is 20 years old and in need of major repairs in the near future. This vehicle is primarily used by Global Partners when they are visiting and has been a huge blessing to them. We are in search of another minivan, approximately 5 years old or newer, and approximately 50,000 miles or less. For more information please contact Dan Beason, click here to email.
The Calvary Choir is now accepting new members for the 2025-2026 season. If you are High School age or older and desire to serve the Lord through the choir ministry or would like additional information, please scan the nearby QR code. In addition, the choir is welcoming guest singers during the AM services on June 1, July 13, and August 17. If you'd like to get a feel for what the choir ministry is all about or if you would like to take this opportunity help lead our congregation in worship, we'd love to have you join us on any or all these mornings! Opportunities to Serve
We have an opportunity to serve the body this summer with the Grounds Team. Another volunteer is needed to assist with lawn mowing, please contact Deacons Austin McCollum or Dan Beason if you have questions or would like to serve.
Children’s Ministry Sunday School looks a little different in the summer than it does throughout the school year. The Lord has provided all the teachers that we need, but we have a great need for game leaders and helpers for a once-per-month commitment. Please prayerfully consider how the Lord could use you to serve in one of these roles!
9:00 am service needs 18 helpers (1x per month)
10:30 am service needs 105 helpers and 4 game leaders (1x per month)
Please email Hannah Haney for more information.
