Men’s Disciple Making Ministry has a Men’s Bible Study which meets every Tuesday Morning, at 6:30-7:30 am. in Room 214. We study God’s Word and digest it in a small group setting. The men range in age from college-age to Senior Saints. We are open to CBC members, non-members and those outside of CBC. This group is engaging, supporting, and edifying for men who want to know God more personally. We are just beginning a study through 1 Thessalonians and would encourage men of all ages to consider meeting with us every Tuesday morning.

Men’s Disciple Making Ministry will host another Men’s Fall Retreat at Bair Lake Bible Camp on September 19th-21.  More details coming soon so please set these dates aside for a time of fellowship, fun and spiritual growth!

Opportunities to Serve

Calvary Bible Church’s Children’s Ministry Sunday School (ages 2–5th grade) needs volunteers for July and August. Just one Sunday a month—no teaching required—simply come, care for, and love the children. Without enough help, we won’t be able to offer Sunday School this summer. Please prayerfully consider serving. Please email Hannah Haney for more information.

Join the Lend-a-Hand Ministry and be part of a team that meets short-term needs within our church family. This Deacon led ministry is a great way to serve others in simple but meaningful ways—whether it’s helping with light yard work, tackling small odd-jobs, or being that second set of hands. No ongoing commitment or professional skills are required—just a willing heart and a desire to help. To get involved click here or click to send and email.

Swahili Outreach Event: We will be hosting our second annual outreach for the Swahili Hope Ministry on Saturday, August 2. Volunteers are needed for set up (mid-morning), serving lunch, and then tear down/clean up (early afternoon). If you would like to volunteer or if you have any questions, please contact Russ Smith in the church office.
