Sloppy Joes will be served at the Family Dinner from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., prior to the evening activities on Wednesday. A gluten free or dairy free option is available upon advanced request. We ask everyone to sign up in advance (no later than 9:00 a.m. Wednesday) by noting on a Calvary Connection card, calling the Church Office or by clicking here. This is always a great time of fellowship before the evening activities begin.
The Ministry Support Staff is looking for a Summer Intern to help with special projects. This is a paid position for someone looking to gain Office experience. The candidate must regularly attend Calvary Bible Church, and be in agreement with our Constitution and Statement of Faith. We are looking for someone with some computer experience and a love to serve the Lord. Please contact the Church Office or email Heather Schutz for more information.

There will be a Parent Dedication on May 12 during the morning services, where parents will have the opportunity before the congregation to commit to raising their child in a biblical manner and for God’s glory. Men’s Breakfast will take place on Saturday, April 20 from 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Share a delicious breakfast, a challenge to lead spiritually and brotherly fellowship. Bring your dad, son, brother or friend! We encourage you to read “Self-Discipline” pages 71-74 in our book ahead of time, and future readings each month so that you will be in tune with the speaker’s challenge and prepared to discuss the content with the guys at your table. Our Children’s Ministry for our 2 year old through 5th grade classes is a little different for the summer months than it is during the school year. We need more volunteers for the summer months. We are asking for volunteers to serve once a month (3 times) during the summer if possible. If you can serve only once or twice, we would appreciate that as well. This is a great place to start if you love children and not sure where God would have you serve. This is also a great way to serve as couples or with a friend. We need 2 adults for each age group for each service every week. We need volunteers for the 9:00 a.m. service and for the 10:30 a.m. service starting June 9 through September 1. The holidays can be a hard time if you’ve lost a loved one. GriefShare is offering a Special Session called, “Surviving the Holidays”, Tuesday, May 7 at 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in Room 214. All are welcome to join us.

ELDER FOCUS
Santiago Martinez was born and raised in Mexico City. He was saved by the grace of God from street gangs at age 18. He and his wife, Jen, began attending CBC in 2008. They have four daughters: Abigail, Rebecca (deceased), Elizabeth, and Natalie. Santiago has served at Calvary through painting murals in the Children’s Wing, on staff as Hispanic Ministries Director, and as an Elder.
