Pulled Pork will be served at the Family Dinner from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., prior to the evening activities on Wednesday. A gluten free or dairy free option is available upon advanced request. We ask everyone to sign up by 12:00 p.m. the Monday before. Please click here or call the church office to sign up. This is always a great time of fellowship before the evening activities begin. After registering, in the confirmation page, you can now pay online for your meals.
Koinonia, a ministry for people 60 and older, is planning a Hymn Sing here at the church on Thursday, November 13, at 11:00 a.m. The Hymn Sing will be in the sanctuary with a catered lunch to follow in the Fellowship Center. The cost for the lunch is $10. You can signup for this event by clicking here.
The holiday season is fast approaching. If you’ve lost a loved one in the past few years, you may be dreading the coming months. GriefShare is offering a special session called “Surviving the Holidays”. You will receive solid, helpful advice on how to navigate through this difficult time. Join us on Saturday, November 22, 10:00 a.m. – 12 p.m. in room 217.
The Men’s Disciple-Making Ministry Men's Breakfast is Saturday, November 18 and happens every 3rd Saturday of the month. This season we will be studying the book Love or Die by Alexander Strauch, an exposition of Christ’s message to the church in Ephesus found in Revelation 2. This November as we collect for the Global Partner Christmas Giving, we ask you to keep all of our Partners in your prayers. The funds we collect will be distributed as an expression of our appreciation to the Global Partners and the many countries in which they serve. These gifts will not be tax deductible. Please mark a separate envelope noting “Global Partner Christmas” under ‘Other’ and place in the offering plate. Alternatively, you can give online through the church website or using the church REALM database. Select ‘Global Partner Christmas Gifts.
Opportunities to Serve
The Operation Christmas Child Packing Party for Awana Sparks, TNT, and Reach kids will take place on Wednesday, November 12 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in the Block. Volunteers are needed to help with setup on Tuesday, November 11 at 1:00 PM, and again on Wednesday at 6:00 PM to assist the children as they pack their shoeboxes. Additional help is needed during the week of November 17–23 to move and transport the shipping cartons, which contain 16 boxes each. If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Pam Wilkinson.
