NEWS
Chicken Alfredo will be served at the Family Dinner from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. prior to the evening activities on Wednesday. A gluten free option is always available. To ensure we have enough food, we ask everyone to sign up in advance (no later than 9:00 a.m. Wednesday), by noting on a Calvary Connection card, calling the Church Office or by Clicking Here using the QR code. This is always a great time of fellowship before the evening activities begin.
This year's Calvary Christmas Concert, titled "Majesty in a Manger" is coming on December 9 - 11. Invitations and posters will be available to pick up in the lobby beginning next Sunday morning. Please make plans to attend and please be praying about friends, neighbors, and co-workers whom you can invite!
The next Men’s Breakfast will take place on Saturday, November 19 from 8:30 a.m. -10:00 a.m. Share a delicious breakfast, a challenge to lead spiritually and brotherly fellowship. Bring your dad, son, brother or friend! Click here to sign up.
For the four Sundays in November, we will be accepting contributions towards our annual Global Partner Christmas Gift fund. These funds will be distributed as an expression of our appreciation to the Global Partners we support. These gifts will not be tax deductible. Please mark a separate envelope with the gift title under ‘Other’ and put it in the offering plate. Alternatively, you can give online through the church website or using the church REALM database. Select ‘Other Projects’ and insert “Global Partner Christmas” into the memo box that appears.
There is still one week left to shop for quality gifts that will be lasting treasures to pack into a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child.
Boxes and coloring sheets for the children are available in the Fellowship Center and Library
Donations to cover shipping and materials costs should be sent using the postage paid envelope or online using the "Follow Your Box" label.
We are accepting packed shoeboxes through November 20
Awana clubs will pack boxes for ages 5-9 on November 16, donations are accepted in clubs
Volunteers are needed on November 15 to set up, November 17 for clean-up in theBLOCK
We are also seeking volunteers to help transport the shipping cartons to Haven Church in the evenings

Thank You Calvary
Russ & Donna Dusseljee:
We would like to thank all that have expressed concern thru prayers, calls and cards regarding our recent accident. Russ is doing well and my recovery is going slower, however, God has been so gracious and each day I can feel his touch.
Peggy Shepard:
Thank you for the donation in memory of Ronald Shepard to Kalamazoo Gospel Mission. This thoughtfulness was very appreciated.
Opportunities to Serve
With your help, Children’s Ministry can be fully staffed. Are you be willing to be one of THE 12? We need 12 more people to sacrifice part of your Sunday morning either once or twice a month. This opportunity allows us as the body at Calvary Bible Church to come alongside parents and help them as they disciple and teach their children and build a solid foundation on Christ. It also allows us to fulfill our role in the work of the body as Christ intended us to, each of us doing our part functioning as a complete body. “If one part of the body suffers we all suffer with it; or if on member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.” (I Cor. 12:26) No previous training required. If you are interested please contact Hannah Haney.
The Care Closet needs donations of winter coats, hats, gloves and childrens clothing. Please leave clean items in a bag outside the Care Closet in the Chapel hall.
The Kitchen Ministry is looking for a volunteer dishwasher on Wednesday nights from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to help wash and put away dishes. Please contact Laura Studabaker if you are interested in helping in this Ministry Area.
AWANA needs more leaders for our Sparks (K-2nd Grade) and T&T (3rd-5th Grade) Clubs on Wednesday nights. If you are interested in serving, please contact Hannah Haney.
