Let me sing now for my well-beloved a song of my beloved concerning His vineyard. My well-beloved had a vineyard on a fertile hill. He dug it all around, removed its stones, and planted it with the choicest vine. And he built a tower in the middle of it and also hewed out a wine vat in it; Then He expected it to produce good grapes, but it produced only worthless ones. “And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge between Me and My vineyard: What more was there to do for MY vineyard that I have not done in it? Why, when I expected it to produce good grapes did it produce worthless ones?

IMPORTANT ELDER UPDATE
The primary focus of the January 21 Elder retreat was discussion of near-term staffing solutions and longer-term staffing strategies. A presentation to the congregation with more details will be included in both AM services on February 26th. Dates for congregational participation and a congregational meeting are being determined and will be announced in the coming weeks. Please be in prayer for the process, and that the decisions we make together will help us accomplish our mission to “multiply disciples who glorify God by going to all peoples, gathering in community, and growing in Christ.”
Nomination forms for Elders, Deacons, and Treasurer were sent out to CBC Members last week. Completed forms must be returned by Sunday, March 5, and can be dropped off at the Welcome Center or Church Office or placed in Sam Logan’s box in the mailroom. Please pray that godly men are nominated to serve as leaders in our church. Contact Anna in the church office or email anna.matecun@calvarybible.org if you did not receive the nomination information or have any questions.

Calvary Bible Church offers access to a wonderful resource for you and your family called Right Now Media, containing to over 20.000 video resources free of charge. With over 20,000 video resources available, Calvary is not endorsing every title, author and video. We will do our best to remove access to media we do not agree with, but it is important to understand we are unable to review every resource. Each of us is called to test what we hear against the Scriptures and we encourage you to do so, just as we should with any teaching we receive. We trust this tool will be a blessing to you. If you are interested and not currently enrolled Click Here, or text “RightNow CALVARYBIBLE” to 41411 to register. If you need help signing up, call the Church Office during regular office hours.
Today in the Word is available in the oak rack by the nursery hallway and in the spindles in the lobby entryways.
We have sent wooden cars in our Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for years. Unfortunately the men's group that made them for us has disbanded. If you are a woodworker would you consider making 100-200 of these cars for Calvary's shoeboxes that are sent out in November? Please contact Pam Wilkinson if interested.
Today we will celebrate communion and are using our new homemade GF bread (made with Namaste flour, olive oil, water, and salt). Please direct any questions or comments to Anna Matecun in the church office or Click here.
Opportunities to Serve
Children’s Ministry is still looking for volunteers to minister to the Children of Calvary Bible Church! Nursery is in need of 13 adult volunteers (8 on Sunday mornings, 1 on Sunday nights and 4 on Wednesday nights). Our Sunday School Classes still need 4 adult volunteers (1 Teacher and 4 Helpers). These classes and nurseries cannot open without the volunteers needed to staff them. Please consider serving, twice a month or even once a month. Anything is a blessing. For more information contact Hannah Haney, or call the Church Office.
