The Light Still Shines - A calvary christmas album
Throughout the summer of 2024, the Calvary choir and orchestra recorded and produced a full length Christmas album entitled “The Light Still Shines.” The album will be released on December 13, 2024 and will be available digitally to purchase on Bandcamp and will be streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music. Album CDs will be available for purchase in the lobby.
The choir and orchestra will present a live version of the album as their Christmas concert December 13-15.
A short documentary was also produced to capture the process of the recording and to tell the “why” of some of the songs in the project. Parts of the documentary will play during the concerts and will be available in full on December 15.
“The truth of the Light has not changed over the many, many years since Christ has come. That’s the message we want to share, that message of hope. Our goal and our hope is that the songs that we’ve chosen for this project reflect that light.”
