After salvation, baptism is an important next step for the believer in Christ. By obeying Christ’s command, you are publicly declaring your identity with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. Our next baptism service will be Sunday morning, December 6. Please contact Ana Ruggles in the Church Office if you are interested. There are two required meetings prior to Baptism Sunday so please sign up by Tuesday, October 20.

October is Pastor Appreciation month. The Pastors will be honored during the morning services on November 1. Please consider contributing to a love offering for them to express our thanksgiving for their service to the Lord here at Calvary. Please mark a separate envelope with 'Pastor Appreciation" and put it in the offering. Alternatively, you can give online through the church website or the church REALM database. Select 'Other Projects' and insert 'Pastor Appreciation' into the memo box that appears. These donations will be tax deductible as they will be taxable income to the Pastors.

Please mark your calendars for Global Impact Weekend, November 7-8. On Saturday, November 7 there will be a conference featuring our guest speaker Nik Ripken whose life story is captured in the movie “The Insanity of God”.  Make sure you pick up a bulletin insert or click here for more information. To register for the conference click here. There will also be a ladies tea, Reflections with Ruth Ripken, on Sunday, November 8; to register click here.

There will be an opportunity for parents to dedicate their children to the Lord during the morning services on October 25. If you are interested in participating, there are two required dedication classes meeting October 11 and October 18. These classes are held in Room 307 during the 10:45 a.m. hour. Please contact Ana Ruggles in the Church Office to sign up.

We can bring a small service to you in a safe way, or establish new opportunities to fellowship through phone calls or video meetings. Call the church office or email contact@calvarybible.org if you or someone you know would benefit from this ministry.

Nursery is looking for workers, a few classes still need teachers and we are looking for some helpers as well! If you are able to volunteer, please contact Hannah Haney, if you are unable to volunteer, please join us in praying that God will continue to provide us what we need each week
