News

Have you had a loved one pass away and wondered how to handle holidays, birthdays and anniversaries? Surviving the Holidays can help you navigate these difficult questions. Please join us on Monday, February 8 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Reception Rooms for our Surviving the Holidays seminar. Please contact Donna Steinke to reserve your spot.

Nomination forms for Elders, Deacons and Treasurer will be mailed to Calvary Bible Church members in early February. Please begin to prayerfully consider qualified men to nominate as servant leaders based on the biblical qualifications described in 1 Timothy 3:1-13. Our current Elders include our four Pastors: Bret Laird, Justin McCoy, Jeff Whitaker and Jeremy Willetts, as well as Bob Barnes, Tony Givhan, Dan Haney, Nate Hogan, Brian Jacobs, Sunil John, Sam Logan, Santiago Martinez, Russ Smith, Randy St. John, and Keith Robinson, who was appointed by the Elders, in accordance with the Church’s constitution, to complete the term of Rich Johnsonbaugh who moved out of town. Our current Deacons include Josh Andrews, Jeff Awe, Don Beebe, Paul Carlson, Mike DeDoes, Zach DeYoung, Austin Dosh, Jonathan Greve, Scott Hartwig, Jon Jones, Brandon Morse, Trevor Newton, Abe Nichols, Mitch Poll, Mike Ruiter, Craig Rupp, Phil Stickney, Patrick Studabaker, Ewing Tiong and Jim Trombley. Our current Treasurer is Bob Drenth.

After salvation, baptism is an important next step for the believer in Christ. By obeying Christ’s command, you are publicly declaring your identity with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. Our next baptism service will be Sunday morning, March 21. Please contact Ana Ruggles in the church office if you are interested. There are two required meetings prior to Baptism Sunday so please sign up by Tuesday, February 9.

Offering Envelopes are still available in the Fellowship Center! Please arrange to pick them up.

Faith at Home Ministries

For the month of February, the Faith at Home GrowthGroup will be discussing Family Discipleship. We will look at four key practices that are significant in Family Discipleship.

LifeGroup Room Changes

Beginning next Sunday, February 7, there will be several room changes taking place within our LifeGroups. While we try to minimize change, these adjustments are necessary, based on increased attendance and the need to provide adequate distancing in some of our classes. Below is the list of LifeGroups that are changing rooms. All other classes will remain in their current locations.
