Chicken Alfredo will be served at the Family Dinner from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. prior to the evening activities. A gluten free option is always available. To ensure we have enough food, we ask everyone to sign up in advance (by 9:00 a.m. Wednesday), by noting on a Calvary Connection card, calling the Church Office or click here. This is always a great time of fellowship before the evening activities begin.
Our students will be conducting a coin offering today in the morning services. This offering is divided between the youth ministry areas to be used for special purchases. Student Ministries appreciates the coins that you generously donate.
There will be a Parent Dedication during the morning services on May 8. Parents will have the opportunity before the congregation to commit to raising their child in a biblical manner and for God’s glory. If you are interested in participating, there are two required dedication classes meeting April 24 & May 1. These classes are held in Room 305 at 10:30 a.m.. Funeral Luncheon Volunteers Needed! On the occasion of a funeral within the church, we provide a meal for the family and friends following the funeral service. Volunteers help to prep and serve the meal. If Hospitality is your gift we also need individuals to prepare and drop off salads, sides or desserts. Spring Cleanup is April 9 (tentative start time is 2:00 p.m.). Volunteers are needed to do Spring clean up around the building and the backfield. Click here to email Neil McCormick . The tentative rain date is April 16 with time yet to be determined.
Ukraine Project Fund
The Elders held an all-day retreat on Saturday, February 12, 2022, here at Calvary. The primary focus for the day was prayer for the Body at Calvary. The agenda included:
The Elders established a special project to create a three way partnership between local churches in Ukraine, Romania, and the USA whose goal is to meet the spiritual and physical needs of refugees and civilians who are suffering as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
