Prayer, Training & Go Groups
Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.
James 4:7-10
NEWS
After salvation, Baptism is an important next step for the believer in Christ. By obeying Christ’s command, you are publicly declaring your identity with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. Our next Baptism service will be Sunday morning, August 21. Please contact Angela Haner or call the church office if you are interested. There are two required meetings prior to Baptism Sunday, so please sign up by Tuesday, August 9.
Women’s Bibles Studies return this fall on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.! We’re looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and making new friends. There will also be an Infant-PK children’s study where the children participate in a lesson each week to dig deeper into God’s Word. We’d love for you to come along side us and help minister to these young hearts. Click here to contact Jenna Yetman if you have questions and are able to volunteer in the children’s ministry on these mornings.

An elderly woman from our church is in need of a ride to church on Sunday mornings. She lives across the street in the Sojourners Place. If you would be willing to provide a ride to this woman, contact Dan Johnson at the church office.
Vacation Bible School Recap
We had an average of 257 kids every day with about 120 volunteers. Every single one of those kids heard the Gospel, 15 responded to the invitation and 4 of them prayed to receive Christ! We raised $3,159.19 for Alternatives Pregnancy Care Center and the kids learned the true value of life and what it means to made in God’s image! Thank you all so much for praying! We felt your prayers and many of them were answered! We are already getting excited for VBS 2023!

We have teams of volunteers that deliver over 125 of those boxes, and other teams that hand out boxes at Calvary. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Katey Laird.
