Is it not yet just a little while before Lebanon will be turned into a fertile field, and the fertile field will be considered as a forest? On that day the deaf will hear words of a book, and out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see. The afflicted also will increase their gladness in the Lord, and the needy of mankind will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. For the ruthless will come to an end and the scorner will be finished, indeed all who are intent on doing evil will be cut off; who cause a person to be indicted by a word, and ensnare him who adjudicates at the gate, and defraud the one in the right with meaningless arguments.

The Church Office will be closed Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
Our students are conducting a coin offering in the morning services. This offering is divided between the youth ministry areas to be used for special purchases. Next Generation Ministries appreciates the coins that you generously donate.
We are thankful for those who were able to attend our Annual Meeting on the evening of June 25. The 2023-2024 Fiscal Year Budget passed at 97.82%. All Elder and Deacon Nominees were affirmed at 93.77% or higher. Please pray for these men as they serve on our Elder and Deacon Boards.
SUMMER OFFICE HOURS: Please note that beginning Friday, July 7 the Church Office will be closed on Friday afternoons for the months of July and August. Friday office hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday office hours will remain the same.

Kids Praise!, Calvary’s children’s choir, has an immediate need for a choral director. The person serving in this volunteer role will provide music instruction and will work with a dedicated staff of volunteers to help teach and prepare Kids Praise! members during their choir season, which runs from mid-September through March. Please contact Mark Duncan with any questions or for more information.
The Calvary Choir is now accepting new members for the 2023-2024 season. If you are High School age or older and desire to serve the Lord through the Choir Ministry or would like additional information, click here. In addition, the Choir is welcoming guest singers during the AM services on July 9, and August 27. If you¹d like to get a feel for what the Choir Ministry is all about or if you just would like to take this opportunity help lead our congregation in worship, we¹d love to have you join us on any or all of these mornings! Opportunities to Serve
Vacation Bible School is almost upon us and we are looking for Prayer Warriors to partner with us in committing to pray for VBS every day. If you commit, you will receive daily updates, praises and prayer requests. If you would like to be added to the VBS prayer list, please email hannah.haney@calvarybible.org.
VBS Craft Donations: We need extra thick magazines for one of our craft days. If you have some that would be willing to donate, please place them in the box outside the Library or bring them by the Church Office before July 10.
Elder Focus
Jeff Whitaker was saved in 1970 and began attending Calvary in 1972. He is married to Linda, and they have two grown children: Ryan and Eric. Jeff is our Senior Associate and Outreach Pastor and has served as an Elder, Teacher and Global Partner.
