When You did awesome things which we did not expect, You came down, the mountains quaked at Your presence. For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who acts in behalf of one who waits for Him. You meet him who rejoices in doing righteousness, Who remembers You in Your ways. Behold, You were angry, for we sinned, We continued in our sins for a long time; Yet shall we be saved? For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our wrongdoings, like the wind, take us away. There is no one who calls on Your name, Who stirs himself to take hold of You; For You have hidden Your face from us and have surrendered us to the power of our wrongdoings.

Our Annual Congregational Meeting will be held in the Sanctuary next Sunday, June 30, at 6:00 p.m. We will vote to affirm the Elder, Deacon, and Treasurer nominees and approve the 2024-2025 budget. Today’s bulletin insert has the full list of nominees and includes those men who are currently serving and have been nominated for an additional term, as well as new nominees. If you are a member of Calvary Bible Church, please plan to attend. Childcare will be available for nursery through two-year-olds.
The Annual Report has been emailed to active members. If you are an active member and did not receive the report, please email Anna Matecun. A limited number of printed copies are available in the lobby.
Absentee ballots are available at the Welcome Center. Please note that absentee ballots do not count towards the quorum needed for the meeting.
The next Membership class will be on Saturday, June 29 in Room 122 A & B (Reception Rooms). The class will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with lunch provided. Please bring your Bible. Click Here to sign up or contact Angela Haner in the Church Office.
Calvary Men: Save the date for Men’s Disciple Making Ministry Retreat September 20-22, at Bair Lake. More details coming next Sunday.
Women’s Disciple Making Ministry encourages you to join In keeping with our mission statement of GO, GATHER, GROW we invite women of Calvary to Gather with the resuming of Sister Time. A time for women to host other women in their home a couple times a month for the purpose of building community, encouragement, and fellowship. Sister Time will officially run from September 14 with a kickoff breakfast and continue until May 2025. Hostesses can sign up and get more information in the Fellowship Center June 16-30. Attendees can sign up staring July 14 - 28.
VBS begins tomorrow running through Friday from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Kids entering Kindergarten-5th Grade will travel through history visiting 7 key biblical events. We hope to captivate their hearts and minds as they learn truths from God’s Word and how to apply them to daily life. Along with the lessons, kids will enjoy games, crafts, songs, snacks and so much more. Don’t miss out on the best week of the summer!

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
Thank you for all those that have volunteered to serve in the Summer Children’s Ministry. We are still in need of 12 volunteers for first service and 20 for second service. Please grab a friend or spouse or come serve with another helper already signed up. If you are not involved in serving the Lord at Calvary, this is a great opportunity to begin as it is a short commitment and you can see if this is an area that God would have you to continue to serve. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Lora West.
