After salvation, Baptism is an important next step for the believer in Christ. By obeying Christ’s command, you are publicly declaring your identity with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. Our next Baptism service will be Sunday evening, September 29. To sign up Click Here, email Angela Haner, or call the Church Office. There are two required meetings prior to Baptism Sunday so please sign up by Tuesday, September 2.
Are you a WMU, KVCC, or K-College student? Welcome to Kalamazoo and to Calvary! We would love to see you at Crossroads. Crossroads is Calvary’s college and young adult group (18-25 yrs.). We meet at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel on Sunday mornings and 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening in homes for Bible study. We also have a mid-week Go Group that meets at WMU. The Calvary Choir is now accepting new members for the 2024-2025 season. If you are High School age or older and desire to serve the Lord through the Choir ministry or would like additional information, Click Here.
Our students will be conducting a coin offering September 1 in the morning services. This offering is divided between the Next Generation ministries to be used for special purchases. We appreciate the coins that you generously donate.
Registration for Kids Praise! is now open! Kids Praise! is a group of children in grades 1-5 who are enthusiastic about using music, movement, scripture and drama to learn about and tell of our Lord's worth! Women Fall Bible Study online registration is open! We plan to offer a large group format of the study of Philippians by Rafiki Foundation, breaking into multigenerational small groups for discussion of the homework lessons. Sign up for the Men’s Disciple Making Ministry retreat at Bair Lake on September 20-22, we’re trying to get a good headcount and need your help. This will be a great time of fellowship, with lots of activities, and an inspirational message from Dr. Brent Aucion. The cost is $139 including lodging and meals – sign up by Clicking Here. Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are available in the library if you would like to get an early start on collecting items for your shoebox. We will be collecting shoeboxes until November 18.
Sign up today for the Women's Disciple Making Ministry Fall Retreat October 18-19, 2024. We will refresh and retreat at the beautiful Indian Lake Nazarene Camp in Vicksburg. As we prepare for another great year of Women’s Disciple Making Ministry Bible studies, we are also preparing for another fun year of ministering to the children on Tuesday mornings. Every year, the need to provide a class for home-school aged children 5+ grows. In order for us to provide a safe environment for all the children, we must have adequate help throughout our classes. The need to minister to the next generation is a lifelong calling. For more information contact Jenna Yetman.
The Kitchen Ministry is looking for volunteers on Wednesday nights to help with food prep, serving the meal, and clean up post meal. Food prep starts at 3:00 p.m. Please email Laura Studabaker if you are interested in helping in this Ministry Area.
