For the month of August there will be no coffee ministry in the Fellowship Center. There will be coffee available in the Block for the Life Group Summer Series both hours.
Calvary Ladies: Registration for Women’s Disciple Making Ministry’s Fall 2026 Bible Studies is now open! Please click here to sign up today! Three studies will be offered Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30am, beginning September 15. Childcare will be provided! Registration closes August 28. We will have a table in the Fellowship Center August 16 & 23 to answer any questions you may have about the studies.
Growth Groups meet Wednesdays, 6:30–7:50 p.m., September through May, offering gospel-rich teaching, discussion and opportunities to grow deeper together. Click here to view class options and find the right fit for you. Growth Groups begin September 9.
A 14-week Bible Teacher Training course will be offered this fall for both men and women to equip those who communicate the Word in any ministry context. For more information, click here. If you are interested but unavailable on Wednesday nights, please fill out the "Class Sign-Up” link to indicate availability for an alternative section that is being scheduled. Starting today, August 9, there will be tables in the Fellowship Center with materials cleaned out from the teacher resource room. They will be there until August 23. Any materials remaining will be properly disposed of. Please take a look! These materials will be great for teachers, families, grandchildren, etc. Our hope is to create a space that is more conducive for our Sunday School teachers to prepare their lessons.
The Calvary Choir is now accepting new members for the 2026-2027 season. If you are High School age or older and desire to serve the Lord through the choir ministry or are just looking for some additional information about the choir ministry, please click here. Rehearsals will begin on August 26.
Additionally, the Choir is welcoming guest singers during the AM services on
August 30. If you'd like to get a feel for what the choir ministry is all about or if you just would like to take this opportunity help lead our congregation in worship, we'd love to have you join us! To participate, please click here or contact the Church Office.
Our next 5th Sunday Service is on August 30. We’ll all gather for one combined worship service at 10:30 a.m. Before the service, everyone is invited to a time of fellowship at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Center. To ensure we have enough food, we are asking the congregation to bring a breakfast item if you are able. Please click here to let us know what you are bringing.
Koinonia, a ministry for people 60 and older, is planning a trip to Shipshewana and the Heritage Creamery in Middlebury on Thursday, August 20. You can register for this event by clicking here or calling the Church Office. Plan to be at the church at 8:45 a.m. with the bus departing at 9:00 a.m. and returning at approximately 4:00 p.m. The only individual cost will be lunch and optional shopping in Shipshewana.
Opportunities to Serve
We have several openings for people interested in being a door greeter or to staff the Information Center. Please contact Pastor Dan Johnson at the Church Office or click here to email if you are interested in filling one of our openings. This is an important ministry of the church since it is often the first person a newcomer or visitor meets when entering the church.
