Today’s Message
Santiago Martínez serves as Associate Pastor of Hispanic Ministries. He was born in Mexico City, and he was saved by the grace of God at the age of 18. He and his wife Jennifer have four daughters: Abby, Ellie, Natalie, and Rebecca - who went to heaven to be with the Lord in 2016. Over the last eight years God has established a Hispanic ministry at Calvary Bible Church – Leon de Juda. Prior to his call as an Associate Pastor, Santiago led this ministry as our Director of Hispanic Ministries.

Ladies, SAVE THE DATES for the Fall 2025 Women's Disciple Making Ministry Bible Studies! Starting Tuesday, September 16: (Children’s programming provided) “The Weight of Majesty” (Behold Your God/video series) on the attributes of God and a new study written by Judy Remington called "Persevering," will be offered. Starting Thursday, September 18: (No childcare) “Making Sense of the Bible,” one of seven parts from Wayne Grudem's Systematic Theology will be offered.
Wednesday night Growth Groups are starting September 10. Click here for a full list of classes. Calvary Core Training courses are now offered in 7-week sessions. These are the upcoming Core Training classes for this fall:

An informational meeting will be held at the home of Bill and Debbie Walker on Thursday, August 14th from 7:00–8:00 PM for those interested in a short-term mission trip to the CMDE Conference, March 26–April 10, 2025. The team will provide childcare and a VBS program for preschoolers of attending families. Individuals, couples, and families with children 14 and older are welcome to serve. Bible Study Greek 1 will be offered this fall on Thursdays 4–5:15 p.m. (September 4-November 20, 2025). To see the syllabus and sign up, click here or email Austin Dosh with any questions or for more information. Please sign up no later than July 31, to receive all necessary preparatory material.
The Tuesday Morning Men’s Disciple Making Ministry Bible Study meets weekly from 6:30–7:30 AM in Room 214. Open to CBC members and non-members, this group of men—from college-age to seniors—gathers to study and apply God’s Word in a supportive, small group setting. We’re currently beginning a study through 1 Thessalonians and welcome men of all ages to join us.
The Lend-A-Hand ministry is currently recruiting volunteers and preparing for future service. While we are not yet ready to begin meeting needs, we are actively working toward a full re-launch. Watch for upcoming announcements as we move closer to resuming this important ministry. Contact the office with any questions.
Opportunities to Serve
Children’s Ministry Sunday School is still in need of at least 58 helpers, 27 of which need to be adults, during the month of August. If you are available and willing to serve please contact Hannah Haney in the church office or click here to email her .
