Prayer, Training & Go Groups
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
Isaiah 1:18-20

Poppy Seed Chicken will be served at the Family Dinner from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., prior to the evening activities on Wednesday. A gluten free option is always available. We understand the command to make disciples. We heard about our call to the ministry of reconciliation last week. If you have a felt measure of conviction about sharing your faith more, the Go Groups are a great place to strengthen one another and encourage one another to that end. Join us for our Sunday evening services at 6:00 p.m. followed by our Go Groups from 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.. We would love to plug you into one of these groups to build community in assisting you in that desire.
The next Men’s Breakfast will take place on Saturday, January 21 from 8:30 a.m. -10:00 a.m. Share a delicious breakfast, a challenge to lead spiritually and brotherly fellowship. Bring your dad, son, brother or friend! Click Here to sign up.
Sanctity of Human Life is set aside each January to celebrate God’s gift of life, commemorate the many lives lost to abortion, and commit to protecting human life at every stage – from conception to natural death. Please be in prayer for Pregnancy Care Centers Nationwide as they seek to show the love of Christ, share the Gospel and fight for the unborn. Over 30,000 unborn children lost their lives last year in Michigan to abortion & 655 of those lives were in Kalamazoo.

Operation Christmas CHild Update
We would like to share some encouragement for the many who volunteered and contributed for our shoebox ministry this Christmas. We received a email from a Samaritan’s Purse volunteer providing this feedback: “I just came back from the Operation Christmas Child processing center in Aurora, IL and while there inspected shoe boxes your church packed. They were awesome! So easy and such a pleasure to look through! They were some of the best, most caring, thoughtful gifts I saw. It was easy to see that a great deal of effort went into your selections and packing. You may never hear from the children who receive your boxes, but God's love truly went with your box.” Thank you to the many who prayed, worked, and gave to bless these children!

Note from the Elders - Sabbatical Announcement
Pastor Justin has faithfully served our congregation for almost twelve years in several roles within our youth ministry. In preparation for his new role with the Navigators, we are offering him a sabbatical for the months of January, February, and March in accordance with the sabbatical policy for Pastors. During this time, please keep Justin and his family in your prayers, asking the Lord to continue to work in and through him, and to provide the necessary financial support needed. During this time any questions regarding Next Generation Ministries should be directed to Jake West or Hannah Haney.
