News

Wondering how you are going to handle the upcoming holidays after the passing of a loved one? Please join us for Surviving the Holidays on Tuesday, October 27 from  6 - 8 p.m. in the Reception Rooms. Please contact Donna Steinke with any questions.

Shoeboxes are available to pick up for Operation Christmas Child in the library. We are encouraging families, groups and individuals to pack their own shoeboxes this year. There will be no packing parties at church. Shoeboxes are continuing to be delivered to over 130 countries and unreached people groups around the world. Each box is delivered with the gospel message and the booklet "The Greatest Gift" in their language. Drop off finished shoeboxes in the library by November 22. Contact Pam Wilkinson with questions or visit Samaritan’s Purse.

The next membership class will be on Saturday, November 21 in the Reception Rooms. The class will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with lunch provided. Plan to bring your own Bible. Please contact with Angela Haner in the Church Office to register.

October is Pastor Appreciation month. The Pastors will be honored during the morning services on November 1. Please consider contributing to a love offering for them to express our thanksgiving for their service to the Lord here at Calvary. Please mark a separate envelope with 'Pastor Appreciation" and put it in the offering. Alternatively, you can give online through the church website or the church REALM database. Select 'Other Projects' and insert 'Pastor Appreciation' into the memo box that appears. These donations will be tax deductible as they will be taxable income to the Pastors.

Church on the Porch is a ministry serving those that have not been able to return to In-Person services. We want to provide you the opportunity to open the Word with other believers, share communion, experience fellowship and be encouraged. We can bring a small service to you in a safe way, or establish new opportunities to fellowship through phone calls or video meetings. Call the church office or email contact@calvarybible.org if you or someone you know would benefit from this ministry.

The Elders have approved Aaron and Jennifer Whitaker and Jose Hernandez for membership
