The family dinner of pulled pork will be served from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. prior to the evening activities. A gluten free option is always available. To ensure we have enough food, we ask everyone to sign up in advance (by 9:00 a.m. Wednesday), by noting on a Calvary Connection card, calling the Church Office, or by clicking here. This is always a great time of fellowship before the evening activities begin.

Come back tonight at 6:00 p.m. for the Kids Praise! Christmas concert which will be held during the evening service in the Sanctuary.

The next Men’s Breakfast will take place on Saturday, December 18 from 8:30 - 10 a.m. Share breakfast, a Man Challenge and fellowship. Bring your Dad, son, brother or friend! Click here to sign up.

Our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be Friday, December 24 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

Thursday Morning Women's Bible Study: Beginning on Thursday, January 13, there will be a Women's Bible study offered at CBC from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Karen Rowland will lead a study through “The Pursuit of Holiness” by Jerry Bridges. Click here to register.

Praise God that all Angel Tree Christmas 2021 children have been provided gifts through the generosity of our CBC families. Please pray for the delivering teams reaching out to the Angel Tree families beginning December 6.

This year's Calvary Christmas Concert, titled "Rejoice! Hope Is Here" is coming up on:

December 10 at 7:00 p.m.
December 11 at 7:00 p.m. (Higher Precaution Seating in the Balcony)
December 12 at 6:00 p.m.

The theme of this year's concert focuses on the hope we have in Christ especially during these times of turmoil and division. Tickets will not be required for this year's concert. Invitations and posters are now available. Please make plans to attend and please be praying about friends, neighbors and co-workers whom you can invite to join you. The center section of the Sanctuary will be reserved for guests.

Year End Giving Project

It is with joy that we have watched God bless Leon de Juda, Calvary’s outreach ministry to the South West Michigan Hispanic community. This fall it became apparent that there is no longer space in our building for this portion of our congregation to meet for worship on Sunday mornings. The Elders have approved the purchase of a modular building to be placed in the green space near the southeast library entrance. The brothers and sisters of Leon de Juda are thrilled with the opportunity to have a space not only for Sunday mornings but for their multiple ministries throughout the week. The total cost of the modular unit is $200,000. The Elders have established this as our End of the Year Giving Project. Simply designate on your envelope or on electronic gifts: “End of the Year Project.”

Service Opportunities

We are looking for 30 more volunteers to serve in the Nursery on Sunday mornings. There are 16 open slots during the 9:00 a.m. service and 14 slots open during the 10:45 a.m. service. Please contact Hannah Haney or Brooke Bakhuyzen for more information.

Thank You!

Dear Calvary Family,
I was so touched to receive the card notifying me that Calvary Bible Church made a memorial contribution to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission in my mother’s name. Thank you! My mom would have been so pleased. Thank you for remembering her in that way! The church body have been such a support to us during this time. We are so grateful.
God bless you!
