The family dinner of chicken sandwiches will be served from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. prior to the evening activities. A gluten free option is always available. To ensure we have enough food, we ask everyone to sign up in advance (by 9:00 a.m. Wednesday), by noting on a Calvary Connection card, calling the Church Office or click here. This is always a great time of fellowship before the evening activities begin.
There will be an opportunity for parents to dedicate their children to the Lord during the morning services on February 20. If you are interested in participating, there are two required dedication classes meeting February 6 & 13. These classes are held in Room 305 at 10:30 a.m.. Please contact Angela Haner or call the Church Office to sign up.
After salvation, Baptism is an important next step for the believer in Christ. By obeying Christ’s command, you are publicly declaring your identity with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. Our next Baptism service will be Sunday morning, February 27. Please contact Angela Haner call the church office if you are interested. There are two required meetings prior to Baptism Sunday so please sign up by Tuesday, February 1.
In preparation for tax season, donor contribution tax statements for 2021 Have been emailed. If you did not receive your statement please contact the Church Office to provide your current e-mail address. For those who requested hard copies, they were mailed this past week.
Go Groups officially kicked off on Sunday, January 9. We are praising the Lord for the great response. You can join a group at any time. If you are interested in more information call the church office or email contact@calvarybible.org.
Building Interior Signage
New interior signage will be installed on Monday and Tuesday throughout the facility to make it easier to find a location, especially for visitors. All signage will have a consistent appearance rather than the various formats that have accumulated over the past several years. As part of the process, some room numbers are changing, but all room assignments are the same; all Life Groups, Growth Groups on Wednesday evenings, children’s classes, etc. will still be in the same place they have been recently, although the room itself may have a different number. Maps are available in the Welcome Center.
YEAR END GIVING PROJECT
We want to thank everyone who contributed to the year-end giving project to fund the modular building for León de Judá. The total amount collected exceeded $70,000. The Elders unanimously approved funding the remaining cost from the Ministry and Outreach Expansion Fund (MOEF). We expect the building to be completed and installed in the second quarter of this year.
