The family dinner of a taco bar will be served from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. prior to the evening activities. A gluten free option is always available. To ensure we have enough food, we ask everyone to sign up in advance (by 9:00 a.m. Wednesday), by noting on a Calvary Connection card, calling the Church Office or click here. This is always a great time of fellowship before the evening activities begin.
The Ministry Support Staff has a part-time, paid position (24-29 hours per week) in the Church Office. The candidate should have strong people skills, with a desire to show the love of Christ to those that come into the office. Proficiency in Word and Excel along with strong written and verbal communication skills are also required. You must be a Member of Calvary, or willing to pursue Membership for employment. After salvation, Baptism is an important next step for the believer in Christ. By obeying Christ’s command, you are publicly declaring your identity with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. Our next Baptism service will be Sunday morning, February 27. Please contact Angela Haner or call the church office if you are interested. There are two required meetings prior to Baptism Sunday so please sign up by Tuesday, February 1.
In preparation for tax season, donor contribution tax statements for 2021 will again be sent via e-mail . If you believe we do not have your most current e-mail address or you would prefer a hard copy of your tax statement, please contact Angela Haner or call the church office.
Are you dealing with grief from the loss of a loved one? GriefShare is
a 14 week program based on Biblical truth to help with the difficult journey. The next session begins Monday, January 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Reception Room A. The cost is $20 to cover materials (scholarships are available). Please contact Donna Steinke for more information or just come join us.
Go Groups officially kicked off last Sunday, January 9. We are praising the Lord for the great response. You can join a group at any time. If you are interested in more information call the church office or click here.
Year End Giving Project
We want to thank everyone who contributed to the year-end giving project to fund the modular building for León de Judá. The total amount collected exceeded $70,000. The Elders unanimously approved funding the remaining cost from the Ministry and Outreach Expansion Fund (MOEF). We expect the building to be completed and installed in the second quarter of this year.
